Who we are and what we do
SA Cat Rescue Inc (SACR) was founded in 2019 by a group of cat enthusiasts with a drive to get cats off the streets and into homes.
SACR is a totally not-for-profit organisation with bases in the Adelaide metro area and a regional base in Port Pirie. Through a network of foster carers and volunteers we rescue stray, abandoned, and unwanted cats, keeping them safe, warm, and loved, until they can find their forever homes.
SACR aims to rescue cats and kittens from the harshness of street life, and to prepare them for their new life.

All of our cats and kittens leave our care desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and with any necessary veterinary treatment undertaken.

Every donation of $2 or more is tax deductible, and every cent we receive goes directly to helping the cats and kittens in our care.
